About The Role 

Raw Hire is currently looking for both casual and full-time Detailers/Yard Persons. Key responsibilities of this position include detailing both light and heavy vehicles to the highest of standards, conducting pre-hire and off-hire vehicle checks, reporting damages and faults, performing general yard maintenance and upkeep, vehicle deliveries and collections, and preparing vehicles for sale.

To qualify for this position, the candidate must have a minimum manual C class licence and preferably an HR licence. Being clean, tidy, and organised is essential, and the candidate should be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively on their own without supervision. The candidate should also follow safe work practices at all times, with a forklift licence being desirable. Previous detailing experience is an added advantage, and a positive attitude is a must. This full-time position has no weekend work and operates Monday to Friday. Casual position hours vary.

Our busy workshop is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Fleet / Workshop Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The role is responsible for taking the lead in coordinating the workshop team, working with the admin team in organising fleet movements whilst overseeing the service and maintenance scheduling of our fleet.

The successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, be super organised, and have an innate ability to effectively prioritise their day.

Skills and experiences
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

– Ensuring the day-to-day activities of vehicle movement; maintenance and servicing are scheduled.
– Manage the fleet off hire checks, ensuring all reporting of service, maintenance, damage, and loss are recorded accurately.
– Manage the fleet pre hire checks and coordinate vehicles for hire, ensuring our high standards are maintained.
– Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and customer service teams.
– Ensuring vehicles are maintained in accordance with service and warranty requirements.
– Managing and exceeding client expectations.
– Maintaining yard and displaying vehicles to the Raw Hire standards.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

– Current HR Licence
– Forklift licence (Desirable)
– Ability to lead a team positively, whilst working under pressure
– Sound knowledge in mechanical practices 
– Preferred experience in warranty and damage process’s 
– PC Literate highly desirable 
– Knowledge and awareness of workplace health and safety with sound knowledge of safe working practices
